Sarah Nunberg, principal of The Objects Conservation Studio, LLC, has been working as a conservator since 1989. She specializes in conservation of archaeological, ethnographic, decorative and contemporary art, treating objects made of wood, ceramic, stone, metal, glass, skin, leather and bone. She began her career in archaeology at Yale University where she studied pre-Columbian ceramics and art history. She then continued her education at New York University Institute of Fine Arts where she achieved a Master in art history and an advanced certificate in conservation of works of art. Ms. Nunberg provides exemplary care for fine art, guidance on collections storage and maintenance, and collection surveys. Ms. Nunberg is a Professional Associate of the American Institute of Conservation (AIC) and a member of the AIC Green Task Force. In her work she uses the most sustainable, least waste producing methods, and the least toxic chemicals possible.
